Discover Western Sichuan

Pick up in the morning in Chengdu, and we'll drive to the Panda Base in Dujiangyan. Then we'll head to Mt Siguniang and check in at the hotel (Fu Shan Mei Su Hotel or or equivalent level)

After breakfast, we will visit Changping Valley to see the waterfall, grasslands, river, and mountains. We’ll then head to the Danba Tibetan village and stay overnight at the Yun Tu Garden Hotel or equivalent level

Starting from Danba for Tagong, where we will see the grassland and red leaves of the trees. At Little Seda, we will visit the local village and temple without being crowded by other tourists, and we’ll check in at the hotel in Xinduqiao. Then we’ll go to the local village in Tagong to see the local monastery and prayer wall, and hike up a small hill to see the panorama of the grassland. After Tagong, we will go to Xinduqiao to relax at the peaceful waterfront. Stay at Fanyinaman Hotel or equivalent level.

Departing after breakfast, we’ll enjoy the stunning scenery of Xinduqiao. Arriving before lunch, we’ll arrive at a small village next to the mysterious forest lake. You can enjoy an organic lunch here. After lunch, we’ll enter the Haizi forest and take a light but scenic hike on the forest road. Return to Xinduqiao and head to Tagong Plateau Camp to watch the sunset and Jinshan. Stay at Fanyinama Hotel or or equivalent level

After leaving Xinduqiao, we will continue our trip. We’ll see the snow-capped mountains along the way, and we’ll stop at a viewing platform to admire the mountains and the lakes. During the road trip, you can see the Gonnga Snow Mountain, Yala Snow Mountain and the grassland. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Zhong Gu village and enjoy the natural hot spring. This is a relatively rural area, and the accommodation conditions can be rustic. Relax in this quiet mountain village, soak in the hot springs whilst watching the stars above. Stay at the Orange Hotel or or equivalent level

Today is the last day of our journey. After breakfast, we’ll check out, and the driver will take you to the Mugecuo - the most beautiful lake of Kangding. After this, we’ll head back to Chengdu, returning full of memories of the incredible trip.
