Overview

Plot twist alert! This tour was designed to bring to light the B side of the narcos story that was never told by popular TV series. It is grounded in facts of the story of the narco phenomenon of Colombia. Unlike the regular Pablo Escobar tours, the narrative and the stops we will visit aim to bring you on a journey through the whole context of the narcotraffic emergence, and how the problems are still present today. You will appreciate its impacts on the environment and society, and how the deep wound from the infamous war on drugs has been defining the resiliency and the whole social transformation of Colombia.

What you will be doing

Medellin

This four-hour tour will take place in the centre of Medellin. We will walk through multiple stops that will help us show different narratives of the story, using Metrocable, Medellin's innovative public transport system and stopping at various places of interest to understand the city and society transformation like Parque de la Inflexion, Miraflores Sport Unit, Public Library El Pinar, and the Memory Museum of Medellin.

House of Memory museum

Finish your visit to the memory museum on a high note with a street carnival led by Barrio Comparsa, a social enterprise that has used performance arts, theatre, music, and dance to reconstruct the social tissue of communities divided by the invisible frontiers created in part by the narcotic.
