Feel the craving for the waves with a surfing lesson in Los Cabos, During spring and summer, cruise the waves at Costa Azul with a 3-hour morning or afternoon lesson (including round trip transportation). Already know the basics of surfing? No problem, you'll receive tailored instruction according to your level of experience. Bonus: Bottled water and granola bars and round-trip transport from hotels and the cruise terminal are included.

Transportation will be ready for you at your meeting point. We will travel along the road where you will enjoy the journey to Cabo San Lucas - San Jose del Cabo until we reach Playa Costa Azul.

All the beaches in Los Cabos are surprisingly beautiful, and Costa Azul is no exception. The Puente Costa Azul stream locates this beautiful surfing beach at Km 29 of the Transpeninsular Highway, known for its best waves and the best surf spots.

We recommend the earliest start possible for your tour as historically there are stronger winds early in the afternoon
Only run from 15th of March - 15 of November (summer season). If you're looking for Cabo surf lessons during the winter season (15th of November to 15th of March), then check out our Private Surf Lessons at Cerritos Beach - this is where we move our surfing classroom to during winter for lack of waves at Costa Azul throughout those months
Participants must be at least 6 years old
This activity is not apt for individuals with back problems, expectant mothers, or serious medical conditions
No prior surfing experience is required. Our classes are designed for all experience levels, from beginners (we teach you enough to catch a wave) to experts (we offer coaching), always ensuring a great experience at each level as needed
For every 3 people in a class, there will be 1 guide/coach
We use foam boards for our surf lessons. If you prefer a fibreglass surfboard please be sure to request this in advance at the time of booking
Prices are the same for both children and adults. If we have children participating we always aim to have an extra guide for supervision. When you book your surf lesson, please specify whether the participants are children
If you want to join the lesson as an observer you have to book a non-surfer/companion spot on our transport. The non-surfer/companion fee includes round-trip transportation, shaded camp (umbrellas and chairs), bottled water, and snacks.

Instruction: FOR CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. IF YOU ARE DRIVING YOURSELF: The meeting point is outside Zipper's Bar & Grill restaurant at Costa Azul bar. Exact location: Carretera Transpeninsular 28.5, Tourist Corridor, B.C.S., México. IF YOU CHOOSE OUR COMPLIMENTARY TRANSPORT SERVICE: Our round-trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick-up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour.
