Overview
In Japan, fewer than 5% of people wear kimonos today. It is difficult to wear a kimono by yourself. The problem with vintage kimonos is that Japanese people in the past were small, so the size of kimonos was small as well . Typically, when wearing a kimono, the "Ohashiyori" is folded. By cutting the kimono into two pieces, the folding part has been eliminated and improved so that even tall people can wear vintage kimonos. Kimonos are generally handmade from silk, so they are generally quite expensive. Some of our kimonos are gorgeous with fine details, which normally cost thousands of dollars. But with the use of vintage, they are affordable for everyone. You can also choose a basic kimono without paying an extra charge.
