You’ll start out early with a dawn exploration of (the lesser-known) Train Street, and morning tai chi and aerobics at Reunification Park. After a delicious bánh mì and rejuvenating Vietnamese coffee, we jump into our private car and head over to the nearby Hanoi Thieves Market. We’ll take a photographic wander through the tight, atmospheric alleyways here, before dropping by a retirees’ ping pong club, housed in an unforgettable location.
Time now to jump in our car again to head one hour south to Cu Da village. This is one of the best-preserved craft villages within reach of the city center, specialising in the manufacture of vermicelli noodles. We’ll explore the ancient backstreets, then photograph locals drying vermicelli in fields of dazzling gold.
We’ll have lunch nearby, and a picture review over coffee, before moving to Quang Phu Cau village. Here we’ll capture incredible images of incense arranged in the sun – a rhapsody in red just made for travel photographers.
You’ll be dropped off at your hotel in order to get refreshed, have dinner and get ready for the night tour, with pick-up at 7: 30 pm.
We now head out for our final adventure in the capital, a night photography tour exploring incredible Long Bien market. As couriers and traders bring in their stock for the next day, we’ll capture all the action, ending our adventure with a uniquely Hanoi experience.
