Overview
Join us to explore west Crete that is off the beaten path. We will visit the Elafonisi beach and National Geographic-listed Milia Mountain Retreat. You will learn about life in Cretan villages, its culture, history, and tradition, before relaxing at Elafonisi, enjoy the sun and crystal clear water.
What you will be doing
The western part of Crete is the most beautiful part of the island. Heading to Elafonisi Beach you will see enough changes in nature's beauty. From the North part of the island where the Aegean Sea is and the valley with lemon, orange, avocado and olive trees, we will be south. We will cross in driving the Topolia gorge, the nine Cretan villages and finally will be at Elafonisi beach, at Libean sea
At the Southwest point of Crete, there is one of the world's most famous beaches. Explore, swim and enjoy your time
The place is an authentic 17th-century mountain settlement which has been transformed into an eco-friendly tourist complex, one of the top 50 worldwide choices of National Geographic magazine, concerning eco-tourism and agro-tourism. We will spend our lunchtime here and enjoy Cretan cuisine and local wine, beer or homemade soft drinks
This is a unique example of wild Cretan nature. Admire and take plenty of photos of wild landscape nature. You will have the opportunity to see local mountain goats and watch the vultures fly from their nests up to the sky.
