On this tour, you will get the chance to go through different venues that reveal Colombian beer culture. One of the activities that probably involves the greatest amount of beer in Colombia is Tejo. Tejo is both a game and a sport involving clay, rock throwing, and small gunpowder envelopes. It has been played for over 500 years, dating back to Colombian native indigenous populations. Due to its long tradition and popularity, Tejo has become a national sport in Colombia. Now, you can become a Tejo player and try out your aim as you calm your thirst with some national beer. As a tradition, this game is accompanied by a full crate of beer, so be prepared for it. It is an unusual experience that you will love. Come thirsty because there will be plenty of beer drinking. What you will be doing
As part of this tour, you will visit two beer pubs that have become landmarks in Colombia thanks to their artisan high-quality beers. You will try some unique and exquisite Colombian beers as you enjoy the hip atmosphere of Chapinero, one of Bogota's emerging areas.
You will make a stop for a pitcher of Chapinero Porter at BBC.
After that, you will walk to La Statua Rota, a tiny yet charming pub that has seasonal beers from a selected group of local brewers. Here, you will have the chance to taste different beers and identify their differences in preparation and flavours.
