The tour starts from our Meeting point/lounge at 884/20 Rama III Road where we select a comfortable city bicycle and receive some instructions before the ride. Once set, we ride along Rama III Road towards the Chao Praya River crossing (about 1,5 KM) where the ferry will bring us to the other side.
As soon as we are on the other side, we’ll see a huge statue guarding the entrance of a beautiful local Thai/Chinese temple which we will honour with a short visit. Our guide will talk about Thai culture, Buddhism and the heritage of the people that live along the Chao Praya delta
We continue cycling through small communities, along canals and almost through the living rooms of the locals. It’s amazing that in the small loop we’re cycling you can count 8 temples, 1 mosque and 1 church. A great example where different religions can live together peacefully
Here we park the bicycles to have a closer look at what kind of merchandise is available. I can tell you ahead that all your senses will wake up during this sprawl
Here we will take a short break to rest while our guide presents you some Thai snacks or Thai fruit for tasting
The next stop is at the ferry under the giant Bhumibol I & II Bridges, which will bring us back to the concrete world where our office/lounge welcomes us again after 500 meter cycling.
